Me – I couldn’t help noticing you’re wearing orange and…. you know, orange is my favorite color! But the truth is it’s pretty dark in here and I’m not really sure that’s orange…

Him – It’s orange.

Me – Oh? Really? That’s nice. I mean… Orange is nice.

Would somebody please shoot me now and put me out of my misery!

    Uh.. what misery? You had managed to start a conversation. You got a smile from him (probably). So, what’s the problem?
    The fact that such events are not ‘miseries’ but opportunities is probably the only advantage to being closer to 25 than to 15 :)

    with regard to this, i recently got picked up on the street and didn’t realize it till afterwards
    he: maybe we’ll meet sometime
    me: (he picked me up in a tram station) yeah, in other tram stations, maybe the tram will actually come that time

    doh…how clueless can one be
