Pride Parade
I’m proud to be part of a society were you can ask for your rights, even if it’s because the are violated in the first place.
I’m proud to stand up for what I believe in, even if I have to dodge eggs thrown by extremists.
I’m proud to dance at a concert and hear a great artist like George Michael dedicate a song saying “to the man I love” and hear people clapping and cheering instead of swearing and throwing rocks at him.
I’m proud to say what I want and hold hands with whoever a want and then witness the Police arrest the persons trying to hurt me.
I’m proud of those not afraid to be themselves and I pity the ones condemning them.
We’re getting there!

i’m very not-glad and not-proud for what happened yesterday. and i’m not talking about the gay fest, i’m talking about the so-called “normality parade”…i don’t really know all the details, but i understood that the police arrested the ones that demonstrated FOR the diversity and AGAINST the fascism movement. if that’s true…
It’s true. They were aggressive. Fighting violence with violence? How stupid is that?
The so called normality parade was legal, they had the right to march. So let’em!
yes, that’s not so great…fighting violence with violence. but i don’t like that fascist movement either…i’d wish that there would be no more rocks thrown. at anyone! it’s a free world, just let everybody be who they are. it’s good that there are these diversity parades, but, in my opinion, it’s also very sad that there are these kind of reactions.

Vine şi ţăranul român şi spune, în româneşte: sunt mândru să fac parte dintr-o societate în care se doreşte încredinţarea copiilor cuplurilor de lesbiene şi homosexuali, punându-i acestuia în pericol o eventuală viitoare dezvoltare normală, din punct de vedere sexual. Şi dacă vrei să ştii ce spun, ai mai jos un răspuns primit la unul din posturile mele.

Total de-acord cu ceea ce spuneti… Un exemplu de la Houston, cu o noua eleva(chinezoiaca), 7 ani, care îmi spune într-o zi:”stii, eu am doua mamici!” eu de colo:”si un tatic, nu-i asa?”; ea:”nu!” N-am continuat discutia, dar am aflat apoi de la o colega ca fetita respectiva era adoptata din China de catre doua lesbiene, pe care le-am zarit a doua zi, la scoala… Aceeasi colega mi-a relatat la câteva zile ca fetita en question spunea ca mai târziu, când va fi mare, se va marita cu o “doamna”….
sorry pt dezacord…dar după 12 ore de muncă am voie să fiu obosit rău. este vorba de cel făcut între “copiilor” şi “acestuia”.

Cred ca comunitatea gay are o problema de abordare in a se face acceptati. In sensul ca daca la aceasta parada ar fi venit oameni imbracati normal, fara pene si machiaje poate societatea ar fi inceput sa ii priveasca cu alti ochi, ca pe niste fiinte normale ce sunt de altfel. Eu nu cred ca a fi barbat homesexual inseamna sa vrei sa fii femeie si sa te imbraci, vopsesti ca atare, nu cred ca aceste personaje reprezinta comunitatea gay si aceasta comunitate ar trebuie in primul rand sa ia atitudine. Peste tot in mass media homesexualul e asociat cu travestitul, chiar asa nimeni nu face nimic sa schimbe acest lucru?

They weren`t violent, they only hoisted some banners and scaned slogans like “all different, all equal”, but they were arrested for illegal counter-manifestation. They didn`t throw any rocks or tried any physical contact with the participants in the “normality” parade.

Homosexualitatea nu a fost si nu este normalitate. Este o boala a mintii. Nu cred ca libertate inseamna sa-i tolerezi pe toti “bolnavii”. Prezenta lor deranjeaza. Doar de dragul UE am ajuns sa permitem tuturor gunoaielor sa faca ce vor…Pentru a fi Europeni, inghitzim orice element pestritz.

I was out of the city for a couple of days and i saw just today some old news and some footage from “the thing”, but, let me say this, in my personal opinion, the people from the Gay Fest were as representative for the gay community as a bunch of hooligans from “the derbies” for the soccer community. And when i say this i mean, i hope so…

Dragos, dar la parada au venit oameni imbracati normal. Marea majoritate, gay sau nu, era “cu hainele de strada”. Intre mine si un travesti, orice televiziune a ales sa difuzeze imaginea cu travesti. Asta nu ca eu as avea o problema cu gradul de popularitate de care ma bucur ca gay in Romania.
Si inca o chestie. Daca nu as fi fost la parada, din relatarile de la stiri as fi inteles ca a fost vorba de multe petarde, batai si violente.
Ori nu a fost chiar asa. Cred ca fortele de ordine si-au facut foarte bine treaba. Iar strategia celor de la noua dreapta a cam ricosat si si-au cam luat-o in freza.
Ne vedem la anul. Poate o sa fie doar un eveniment de strada care nici o sa mai apara la stiri. Eu asa sper.
